In Greenport, the LWRP has focused on the need to preserve the waterfront for uses that contribute towards the stabilization and retention of a diverse community. The Village has put together a multi-million dollar package to complete Mitchell Park and its signature antique Carousel.

Of major importance is that the Village's establishment of creative financing and the ensuing private sector investments that it's generated for waterfront and downtown improvements.
